Homespun Chic

I'll start off with a bouquet I created for GCD Studios CHA booth using the Homespun Chic collection. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed using this collection! IMO it's one of the easiest collections I've ever created with! If you love shabby chic stuff...you may want this one!! It is not just a paper collection. It has many embellishments to match.

I created the flowers using different sizes of scalloped oval nestabilities and a scor-pal. I then layered the flowers with ribbon and embellishments from the Homespun collection.

The coffee cup was something I found at the Dollar Tree. It is made to decorate so jazzing it up was a cinch.

I wish I had some CHA photos to share with you today. Although, I'm sure you've seen a ton of them floating around blog land! I did manage to snap a few photos but not nearly enough! My computer is still acting up a lot so I'm using my hubby's laptop. It does not have an SD card slot. So, I can't edit or upload photos w/o a big hassle.

CHA trade show was an AWESOME experience!! I was able to meet so many WONDERFUL crafty peeps that I've met through this great industry! I will definitely jump at any chance to go again!

Below are several up-close photos of this set of wall tins. I also found these tins at Dollar Tree. I simply covered them with 8x8 sheets of paper from the Homespun collection. I then embellished them with products from the same collection.

I had the greatest privilege to make some projects for GCD Studios CHA booth using the Homespun Chic collection. This collection was so easy for me to use...the projects just seemed to flow right out of me. I love it when that happens!!

Have a super day!

I'm loving the homespun altered tins. Here I've used those same chipboard ladies on my frames
