Embellish Magazine Blog Hop
Welcome! I'm happy to be sharing this fun blog hop with you today! I was delighted to be asked to participate in Embellish Magazine's first blog hop. It is such a fabulous emagazine. IMO Ashley has created a beautiful and affordable publication. It is full of gorgeous cards and photos.
To top it off. I was extremely happy to have a card published in the very first issue. If you subscribe you will get to see my card creation. :)
Here's the deal.....Create a paper craft project using: red, brown, kraft, turquoise and use twine. White/Cream are fine to add as well. This is such a striking color combo. I love working with these color elements.
Please be sure to visit each blog. You will up your chances of winning a prize. Plus you will see a TON of extreme inspiration and talent along the way!
As you all know, using trim on projects is quite trendy. I decided to layer a couple of pieces together to add some dimension to the card front. The red border is a doily I spray painted and then cut off three pieces from the outside edge. The rest is pretty much self explanatory. :)
Prizes: 2 Lawn Fawn stamp sets (1 winner), 2 assorted May Arts twine samples (2 winners), 5 subscriptions (5 winners), 2 A New Design crinkly and stained ribbon (2 winners)
•Prize contest open until Monday 5pm EST. Winners will be announced Tuesday, June 1.
