FLOWER BLUES

I know this card was a recent SCS challenge. I just can't think of which one at the moment (and I'm too lazy to go check :D).......This card is REALLY simple. I Cuttle Bugged the main panel in two different CB folders and added a large autumn leaves flower that I colored in with a blender pens. TFL! ~Lori Card size:5 1/2 by 5 1/2

Colors: SU soft sky, basic gray, white, kiwi kiss

Embellishments: ribbon, brads, chunky glitter

SU large and small oval punches for sentiment.

FRENCH CUPCAKE

This card says French to me......The colors were for the color challenge at SCS (see sidebar for link) a couple weeks ago. I am SO in love with this SU cupcake stamp! It is a total favorite of mine!! I added a ton of paper piercing! I think piercing adds a lot of dimension to a card or project! I don't know about you but, I rarely sit down to make a card and have a definite l/o or design in mind. I'm not saying I never have a thought out plan. Although, more than not I seem to just start somewhere and roll (er, fight) with it! LOL! TFL! ~Lori

Card size: 5 1/2 by 5 1/2
Colors: soft sky, riding hood red, white, taken with teal
Papers: martha stewart, SU bella rose
Stamps: SU simple birthday thanks, double line doodles
embellishments: brads, rhinestones, paper primas, SU ribbon
accessories, SU scalloped punch, pop dots
Technique: paper piercing
The cupcake was stamped and then cut out larger than the actual stamp. I then used the cut out as a template on my white CS. Otherwise, the wording on the stamp would've shown on the cupcake image. Make sense?? :)

*GREEN* Card

This card was created for a challenge (to use a recycled item) I chose to use a broken hair barrette medallion. You can participate in the challenges at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ they have a new challenge everyday. These colors were inspired by the hair barrette medallion. I wasn't sure where I wanted this card to go when I started. I had to play with the l/o a little bit to get it to feel right. Ultimately, I'm happy with the overall turn out!
