This card was created with the very elegant Morning Glory collection. It's a very classy collection and it's full of stunning colors! The large flower and leaves are cut out of the patterned paper. I added some glitter (that you can't see in the photo) to the flower to add some dazzle. The purple rub-on is also from GCD Studios it goes perfectly with this collection.
Don't forget to stop by GCD Studios tomorrow for the grand prize give-away. Two people will be eligible to win all four collections! WOW!! What an awesome opportunity!

Caardvarks lovers.....it's time for a sketch challenge
Oh my......Caardvark challenges just keep getting better and better!! I had a super blast creating these cards. Our sponsor for this challenge is Shortcuts. I enjoyed using the clear acetate and frosted vellum sheets they generously sent us. I will definitely be making more!! :)
If you enjoy sketches, you might want to join us at Caardvarks. The first card below was created based on the sketch for the current Caardvarks challenge. It's a terrific sketch by Heidi Van Lar.
There is also a Gift Certificate from Shortcuts up for grabs.......you can't win if you don't play!! ;)
If you've never made a clear or frosted vellum card......I urge you to try it!! I was impressed with the many ways you can use it!

anniversary treats.....
My parents just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. In honor of their special day. I created these little treats for them. I already had the card in my stash.....so I decided to coordinate the treats to match the card.
My dad loves Andes mints......so I put them in a clear container that we had ice cream in from Sonic. I had to bring them home and reuse them.
My moms treat is a little decorated brown bag I cut down. I had clear cellophane bags that I put Junior Mints in and set down in the bag.
