Stamping is such a messy habit......

Wow....Today was a profitable day for projects......I made three cards and a tag in between volunteering at my munchkins book fair at school, dinner and household stuff. I've been wondering what has happened to the person that used to be so neat and tidy?! I think that person retired!! :D Basically, this is what my stamp table looked like when I walked away from it tonight! My husband asked me how I accomplished anything in that mess!! LOL! Looking at the one teeny tiny empty space that was left to work in....I wondered the same thing! Somehow, I managed to shove the stuff back far enough to make room for another project. One of my goals tomorrow, is to get things put back in their rightful places.....If I don't get sidetracked with an idea in the process!! :D Seriously, I can only function with it that messy for so long. My creative thinking process seems to freeze up just looking at all the unorganization! Tomorrow, I hope to start over with a clean slate!

YIKES....Looks like a cyclone hit it!!
P.S. I'll be posting a couple new cards tomorrow. For now, I'm going to get my weary bones ready for bed!! It's be a long day......But a GOOD day! I am SO blessed!! I hope you all have a restful night!! God Bless ~Lori

I could have wrote this blog post today. My craftroom is such a mess I would not even go in it today LOL!! Like you I manage to push enough stuff back to work but then I just have to do a clean sweep. Your work area looks just like mine but I have a much longer table (still completely covered).

These photos cheered me up no end - just to know that it's not only me that gets into that state. Good luck with the tidying session Lori.

Oh this is so fun!!!! and looks pretty familiar....I agree with the other ladies!! That picture could be taken in any of our houses on any day!

Oh this is too funny!! Mine looks the same way after a couple of projects. I actually have even been known to work right on my lap eventually!! I rarely get my area perfectly clean because when I go to clean it up, I suddenly get inspired to make something and mess it right back up again! It is amazing how I can't function in the rest of my house if it is messy, but I can crank out lots of projects in here when it looks like a bomb went off!! lol

I made my husband get up off his chair to see these pictures! I told him as he was looking that I'm not the only one with a table like this "SEE!".

Holy Moly!! That is almost exactly what my scrapping space looked like last week after creating a few cards and scrapbook pages. I spent the next day putting stuff away and cleaning up, but now that I have made more cards, it is on it's way to looking like that again. I am glad that I am not the only one that makes a mess when I create. =)

PS...Your mess was definately worth it....Congrats on making COTW at 2s4y!!

I thought I was the only one. Even if I tell myself, "use something, then put it back" it does not work! TFS

Hi Lori, I was looking over your blog today and I recognised this craft mess immediately. This is exactly the kind of chaos I end up in as well. I love your blog.
