Sandie March 20, 2009 at 8:32 PM

Beautiful card! Wow. I prepare a big basket Easter Saturday. I fill it with food, that we eat on Easter Sunday first thing. I bring it, along with some piece of chocolate, to church, and have the priest bless it. Then, our Easter morning breakfast has all been blessed, and it's beautifully presented in a decorated basket.

we spent the day as a family, going to church and then the kids do a egg hunt. afterwards we eat dinner and enjoy the rest of the day.

Heidi March 21, 2009 at 1:26 AM

My favorite easter tradition is lining up all the kids on the side of the house and taking a picture. Then from there we count down and say "go!" when they can start looking for eggs hidden all over the yard. We did this when I was young and now we do it with the next generation of little ones. So fun.

Ginny March 21, 2009 at 2:14 AM

My favorite spring flower is the Easter Lily. When we were kids, my brother and I headed outside 1st thing to our bunny nest ( built the day before)...they were always full of bright colored eggs..from the Easter Bunny of course. We carried this tradition over to our own children and it's still a blast.

Janet L. March 21, 2009 at 6:25 PM

What a wonderful way to get us all into the celebration of spring - by sharing and caring about each other's traditions! So thank you for this opportunity.
My favorite spring flower has to be the daffodil. They are on their own little time schedule to pop out of the ground, regardless of what is going on around them! My kind of determination. ;)

SemSee March 22, 2009 at 12:58 PM

What a fab card, Lori! Thanks for the chance to win such scrummy candy! My fave spring flower just has to be the daffodil. Where we live, we know it's spring when we see these little yellow beauties popping up everywhere we look!

Savitri March 24, 2009 at 12:26 PM

The card is awesome!!! My Easter tradition is pretty traditional. We'd color a few eggs, go to church, do some hunting and have lunch. Nothing fancy. Flowers... I'm not sure if they're spring or not but I love Tulips. I try to play them every year, all sorts of different kinds.

Abby March 27, 2009 at 10:53 AM

I'm Jewish, but I love any sort of flowering tree. This is my first year in Washington, DC, so I am excited about the cherry blossoms!

Blair Moch March 27, 2009 at 1:22 PM

Our family comes over and we have an informal Easter brunch buffet and then the kids participate in an easter egg hunt. I am pretty bummed this year though, because my youngest sister and her family moved really far away, so they won't be there this year :(

Terri Trotter Earley March 27, 2009 at 1:24 PM

I love going to all of the church services every year. It is a big tradition in my family and it really shines a light in my heart.

It's a good life!
Terri E.
