Summer is something I look forward to every Winter! Although, I enjoy the wonders of Winter and the fun it brings. I miss being able to sit outside on the porch, run around without a coat, boots, gloves and a scarf just trying to stay warm! Thankfully, warmer weather will soon be here to stay....... Here's a few cards I popped out today! They're very uncomplicated and MUCH cuter IRL! It was cloudy today. Which made it difficult to get a clear photo.
I also, received this award today from Laura . TY for thinking of me!! I'll try to pass it on..... :D It's getting late and I've got to tuck my kiddos in for the night. Hopefully, I can pass it on tomorrow! Here's who I shared it with CHAT , Angela , Robin , LORi and Cammie .
Read more...Here's a card I thought I would share with you today. I used my new Damask stamp....I Love it!! It is very easy to use and incorporates well with many different styles. I actually, threw this card together last night. Thankfully, it didn't take very long from start to finish. I enjoy card making so much more when ideas seem to flow right out of me! I bought a book of K & Company PP last week.....It seems like I've been using it on every project!! The PP is double sided which leaves open so many possibilities! It's easy to fall in love with paper that beautiful!
This is a super easy monogram card! I used Creating Keepsakes paper, Wright's Ribbon, foof-a-la buttons, rhinestones, CB, SU scalloped punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, rub-on and a Martha Stewart butterfly punch. This card takes only a few minutes to create. I plan to be back later with more projects. I got some new goodies yesterday. Can't wait to dig into them! :D
Hi, to all my bloggy buds!! :) I hope you all are having a wonderful week!! DH has been home (he's a sweetie). So, my schedule has been a little different. Here's a card I managed to squeeze in..... If you would like to play too. Here is the LINK
TESTING: Please bear with me while I adjust my blog to fit the new season........ I'm sad to see the three column template go! I hope to get it back soon! Til then....I'll have to deal with only having the 2 columns! Thanks for all your comments and support!! I {heart} you all!! :-D
Read more...Paper Trey has a ton of challenges going on right now.......A relative of mine has won two of their challenges today!! How cool is that!!?? This one appealed to me today. It's a sketch you have to print out and connect the dots to complete the sketch. I had a blast making this card! The sketch really got my creative juices flowing! :D You can play along too!! HERE The tree washed out in the photo but I think you may still be able to see that I added micro beads to the flourishes. IRL the tree looks super cute!! :D I used a foof-a-la scrapbook kit to create this card and the stamp is actually a holiday stamp from wal-mart that I got on clearance after Christmas. The ribbon is from HL and it's bought by the yard ribbon. I love to buy ribbon by the yard. The variety you can get for the $ is amazing! TSMFL!! I enjoy all your comments and feedback!! ~ Paper Wishes (Lori)
Dog Gone stamps released a new line of dog stamps.....Check them out HERE.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!! ~Lori
This card has evolved into a triple challenge card, SCS WT #204 and CBI #17. and FTCC1... I will be back later to leave details. TFL! Have a great day! ~Lori
Today I decided to create a card with a build-a-house scene. It was a learning experience for me! A little trial and error goes a long way! :) The card kind of evolved as I went along. I didn't have a l/o in mind so it took longer than I would've liked! This also fits the Flourishes FTCC1. I started with a smaller piece of CS. For the house frame and roof. I cut the CS and layered the PP on the cut CS. The window base is PP cut in a small square and the panes are also small pieces of PP. The door and chimney are another small piece of PP. I added rhinestones and flower rub-ons to complete the house. The tree trunk is a piece of CS that I ran through the CB. For the tree top, I used a nestabilities scalloped circle and then ran it through the CB. I added a sentiment and bird to the tree top. It's easy to recreate, but time consuming due to all the pieces and layers that have to be cut.
I recently became a DT member for Dog Gone stamps. This elephant and love sentiment are just a couple of stamps she sent my way. My daughter loved the elephant image! I'll be adding more Dog Gone stamp projects for the next 6 months. So, you'll be seeing more playful and fun images.
Today is a milestone for me. I'm a first timer at MOJO MONDAY and OCC. (I have links in my sidebar). This card is for OCC. The challenge is to use more than two hearts on your project. Since I love Valentine cards. This was fun and easy breezy! :D TFL! Have a great evening!! ~Lori
